Trinity Alps Wilderness Trinity Alps Wilderness is located about an hour and a half west of Redding, California on highway 299. The mountains are between 6,000 - 8,000 feet high, but they give the look of higher majestic mountains. The pictures here were taken on my most recent visit (June, '97). It's hard to take a bad picture, it's absolutely gorgeous. |

1999 Reunion at Sequoia and King's Canyon Nat'l Parks In July, 1999, the Zallar clan had a family reunion at Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon National Park. Most of the Zallar's are tall, but those trees ... now they're really tall.
King's Canyon was a pleasant surprise. If you ever go to see the big trees, also take in the Canyon. |

Rock Creek Canyon Little Lakes Valley There's a beautiful trail in the Eastern Sierra's halfway between Mammoth Lakes and Bishop on 395 in California. Go nine miles west of Tom's place and you're there. Near Rock Creek Lake there's a trail with numerous lakes, streams and picturesque mountains. Even these pictures don't do justice. |

2000 Family Reunion at Rock Creek Canyon I just couldn't stay away. Only this time I invited the whole darned family. Rock Creek Canyon is a great place to fish, hike, relax, fish, hike relax, fish, hike .... and, it's pretty as a picture.
To get there we went through Yosemite and back through Sonora pass.

2000 Family Reunion at South Dakota Finally visited my brother in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It's the home where the buffalo roam and the deer and antelope and 500,000 bikers play - at Sturgis anyway. The rest of the state is bland, but the Black Hills are pretty and relaxing. Mount Rushmore is inspiring along with the spiers. The Badlands are strange but awesome site to see. Makes for great visit ... and for some of us to live.

2002 Family Reunion at Colorado We stayed at Estes Park, Colorado and played in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. Enjoyed hiking, fishing, horse back riding, rafting, eating, and breathing... fresh mountain air. Stops also included the Denver Zoo, Garden of the Gods and Mount Evans.
